How moderation and copyright data is used

Moderation, DMCA-style complaints, and appeals are reviewed to protect the platform, respond to legal notices, and restore videos where a complaint was incorrect. Forms ask only for data relevant to investigating the complaint or appeal.

Data minimisation

Complaint and appeal forms use required fields only for identity, contact, and the factual basis of the dispute. Optional text fields are clearly marked so staff can request no more than is needed for review.

Retention and access

Moderation records may be retained to defend legal claims, prevent repeat abuse, maintain audit trails, and restore content when a decision changes. Site operators should publish their own retention periods and contact route for access, correction, erasure, or objection requests before going live.
